Republic Day – 26th January 2025 (Sunday)
My dear Sriyansi, today was such a beautiful and unforgettable day with you.
Every morning, you wake up around 9 or 9:30 AM, but today was different. When I opened the doors at 7 AM, you stirred, opened your little eyes, and woke up instantly. It felt as if you knew something special was happening today. I smiled, gently running my fingers through your soft hair. “Good morning, my baby. Today is Republic Day,” I whispered, and you looked at me with those bright, curious eyes.
I dressed you in a lovely flag-colored frock, slipping delicate bangles onto your tiny wrists. “Look at you, my little angel! You are glowing like the morning sun,” I said, holding you close. You just smiled, that innocent, heartwarming smile that fills my world with joy.
At 8:15 AM, we got into the car and went to Bhongir court for the flag hoisting. As we reached, the air was filled with patriotic songs, the fluttering of the flag, and the warmth of people gathered to celebrate this day. At exactly 8:30 AM, the national flag was hoisted, and as it soared high, I held you close, feeling the pride and love of the moment.
And then, something beautiful happened. One by one, all the court staff came to take you into their arms. “She is such a doll!” one of them said, holding you gently.
“Her smile is pure magic,” another added, admiring your happiness.
“She’s so calm and precious,” someone else whispered in awe.
You didn’t cry, didn’t fuss—just looked at everyone with those big, sparkling eyes, as if you were silently spreading love to each of them. I stood there, watching, my heart overflowing with love. My little girl, you are not just my daughter—you are a bundle of light, radiating joy to everyone around you.
Before leaving, I took a photo with you and my senior PP sir, capturing this precious moment forever. Then, we returned home, but the day was far from over.
Later, we went to the Bhongir Inter College Ground, where a grand exhibition was set up, showcasing various government schemes. We walked through the stalls, and I pointed at the vibrant displays. “Look, baby, so many colors, so many people!” I said, watching as your little hands reached out, trying to touch everything new and exciting.
We took photos near the stage and the flag, and I held you in my arms, feeling the soft rhythm of your breath against me. Every moment with you feels like a festival, my love—your laughter, your curiosity, your tiny fingers gripping mine as we walked together.
And then, at night, a moment so simple yet so deeply beautiful happened. I was sitting on the sofa in the hall, and I looked at you. “Baby, can you bring your unicorn toy from the bedroom?” I asked gently.
Without a second thought, you ran into the bedroom, your tiny feet making soft tapping sounds. A few moments later, you returned, holding your favorite unicorn toy. But before giving it to me, you did something that melted my soul—you kissed it softly, as if it were your most cherished friend.
Tears filled my eyes as I smiled. “Oh, my sweet baby, you love your unicorn so much,” I whispered, pulling you close to my heart.
Sriyansi, you are just 15 months old, yet your heart is already so full of love—pure, innocent, and boundless. Every day with you is a treasure, but today felt even more special because I saw the kindness, the joy, and the beautiful soul within you shining so brightly.
I love you more than words can ever express, my little one. You are my heart, my happiness, my everything.
